DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles has been appointed as Child Bereavement UK's latest patron, joining fellow patrons Claudia Winkleman, Ben Fogle, Alan Titchmarsh, Gary Barlow, Jason Watkins, Joey Essex, and Mary Berry.

The charity supports bereaved children, young people, parents and families, and Knowles said 'Through my work on DIY SOS - The Big Build I have frequently benefited from the charity’s expertise when preparing for filming with people who have been bereaved. I am delighted to become a patron and to be able to raise awareness of its wonderful work'.
